This spring, at the European Congress of Ophthalmologists, which was held in Macedonia, an event occurred that shocked the entire scientific world. People in the audience stood up and applauded the young man who was on stage for 10 minutes. It was the young doctor Nikola Makedonski. He proposed that uses a completely new approach to the treatment of eye diseases. His unique formula is able to restore vision and prevent blindness in any age.

Nikola presented a non-trivial approach to restoring vision, which allowed him to receive a grant for the production of this drug, which was later implemented by some of the best scientific experts in Macedonia. Journalist: Nikola, we consider you one of the most ambitious young scientists in the world. Tell us how you came up with the idea of ​​creating a medicine that restores vision?

Thank you for the kind words. But to be honest, it’s for my family. The motivation is very personal, because a few years ago, due to progressive cataracts and incorrectly prescribed treatment, my mother completely lost her sight. vision We visited many different private clinics. Doctors prescribed medications that only worsened the situation. Every day, mom’s vision only worsened. My mother then had eye surgery, but a week before the operation, the doctors said that the vision was deteriorating due to a lack of normal blood supply to the lens of the eye. This meant that the operation would not be able to do anything more in this case. In the end, due to the time wasted and the doctor’s negligence, my mother went blind.

The most terrible thing is that my grandmother also lost her sight for the same reason. Once again, the doctors could do nothing but prescribe a lot of useless drugs. This was a real shock for me, after which I decided to study the problems of blindness due to various eye diseases. I was shocked to realize that most of the drugs in pharmacies are useless chemical compounds that cause irreparable harm to the body. My mother and grandmother used such drugs daily, which only accelerated the development of her disease.

For three years I delved deeper into this topic and thought why not try to create a medicine that is truly safe for the body and an effective product that can help people suffering from vision loss and eye diseases. While writing my dissertation, I developed a preparation with a balanced composition that combines effective herbal components and is free of chemicals. I felt that I had created something completely new, unlike what the world has done at the moment. I could not have imagined that it would arouse such interest among various medical structures and institutions.

Journalist: What difficulties did you face?

After the defense of the thesis, the best research fellows and scientists in our country were engaged in further development and clinical trials of my drug. I will say one thing, the trials exceeded all our expectations, rumors about my invention spread with incredible speed. And you know, as soon as my method of restoring vision became known in Europe, I immediately began to receive offers to sell the formula of my invention. A pharmaceutical company from Germany offered 1.5 million euros, and the French three million. I was bombarded with offers to buy every day, I literally almost went crazy. That’s why I had to change my phone number, remove my profile from social networks, so that representatives of the pharmaceutical company could not find me.

Reporter: I understand that you haven’t sold the formula for your medicine?

Yes, that’s right, I haven’t sold it and I won’t sell it. It may sound a little harsh, but it’s my life’s work. I invested so much in the development so that pharmaceutical companies don’t get rich overnight. What do you think will happen if I sell the formula? Private companies will get a patent for this drug and will raise prices or completely stop producing this drug, because it is not profitable to sell a drug that can really help people. Private companies are much more profitable to sell the fog so that people buy more useless drugs at high prices. The pharmaceutical industry has long been the biggest business in the world. I am quite young, but I am not stupid. In the case of selling my formula, the citizens of our country who suffer from vision loss in this case are simply doomed. A scientist from the European Scientific Institute told me that my drug should cost no less than $ 3000. So, when I received an offer from a research institute to jointly develop a drug for the domestic market, I immediately accepted it. I also collaborated with the ophthalmology research center in Macedonia. For me, it was an incredible experience. Currently, the clinical trials phase is complete and the drug is available to the general public.

My goal is for low-income people to easily obtain this medicine and it is guaranteed to restore their vision without having to rely on other medications, expensive eye surgeries, glasses, or lenses.

Journalist: Dr. Begović, what is the secret of Nikola Makedonski’s medicine? Does this medicine really help restore vision at any age?

Nikola’s idea is a completely new approach to the treatment of eye and vision diseases, even in hereditary diseases. Today, experts know very well that all pharmaceutical products can help only in the early stages. In addition, the patient is often given a lot of drugs initially, which only postpones the inevitable. And as soon as a person loses his sight, he is immediately sent for surgery, which in itself becomes pointless. I’m not talking about all private doctors, but most of them do not try to cure patients, they want to make as much money as possible from them, that’s it.

In the early 2000s, scientists noticed that 90% of vision problems occur for just one reason – insufficient blood flow to the eyeball, which nourishes the lens, sclera and cornea with essential substances. If we eliminate this root cause, we can almost completely eliminate expensive eye surgeries.

The working principle of the drug developed by Nedim activates the capsule and helps regulate blood flow in the eyes. This guarantees the complete disappearance of the risk of blindness in the initial stage of the disease. However, it is difficult to cure the severe stages when it comes to complete blindness. Therefore, the efforts of a large number of doctors and health workers were required to improve the composition of the drug, so that this drug could cope with the most severe forms of vision loss.
